Just a little while ago I discovered a text I had written as a teenager. It was about standing up to change something to make this world more livable. To reduce the gaps between society, to create more respect and understanding between each other.
With those words I described a deep longing I already had back then – the longing for a life in freedom, where everyone can be exactly who and what he/she really is. Where they don’t have to adjust or change themselves to be accepted and tolerated.
My path as a singer was spiked with many challenges. I could grow immensely on these and I realize how much more this rocky path helped me instead of an easy road. New texts are being created, filled with the experience of my path with which I will present my own music in the future. Even though I know that I can’t change people, it still is important to me to touch the hearts of those who will hear my call; the call for freedom and the call of their hearts. To be able to walk a new path. The path to themselves.
And as a mother of a 7 year old son it is my hearts duty to safe our planet and to create a better life for all of us. That our children can look forward to growing up.
